Legal notice

Version 5.4, 24 October 2026. This notice identifies the company behind the website www.evparto.com, the people who represent it, and the legal information the law requires an online seller to publish.

1. The seller

Provider of the website www.evparto.com and contracting party for every order placed through it:

EVParto (A DW-Export Brand) is the trading name under which Dragon Wagon Export Limited sells. It is a brand, not a separate legal entity. Your contract is with Dragon Wagon Export Limited.

2. How to reach us

Email is the fastest route and it reaches a person, not a queue.

We acknowledge messages within 24 hours, usually sooner, and answer substantively within 14 days. Hong Kong is UTC+8, so a reply written in our morning arrives in Europe overnight.

3. VAT and tax registrations

  • Hong Kong. Hong Kong does not levy value added tax or goods and services tax. Dragon Wagon Export Limited therefore holds no Hong Kong VAT number, and none exists to publish.
  • European Union. We are registered for the Import One Stop Shop and collect destination VAT at checkout on consignments to EU consumers with an intrinsic value of EUR 150 or less. The IOSS identification number is held by our intermediary and is transmitted to customs electronically with each consignment. It is not published, because an IOSS number that appears in public is routinely misused by third parties to import goods in the registrant's name.
  • United Kingdom. We are not registered for UK VAT. UK orders are placed through checkout once the goods in the basket are above £135; UK import VAT and duty are then paid by the buyer on delivery on the postal options, or prepaid by us for the buyer and included in the UPS delivery price. The detail is in our Terms of Service, clause 4.3.
  • Import taxes for all other destinations are dealt with in our Terms of Service, clause 4, and our Shipping and Delivery policy.

4. What we sell, and what we do not do

We sell replacement vehicle parts, dispatched from Hong Kong, matched to your vehicle by the manufacturer's original equipment number. We hold catalogue references and match your number against them. Parts we have not yet priced are quoted on request.

We are an independent seller. We are not a franchised dealer, an authorised distributor, an agent or a representative of any vehicle manufacturer, and we are not affiliated with any of them. Manufacturer names, model names and original equipment numbers appear on this site to identify the vehicle a part fits. That is descriptive use of another party's mark, it is permitted, and it implies no approval or sponsorship.

Some parts, including airbag modules, seatbelt pretensioners and gas-charged struts, are dangerous goods for transport and have no carrier route from Hong Kong. They are shown as inquiry-only and cannot be bought at checkout.

5. Product safety: EU responsible person

For the purposes of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety, the economic operator established in the Union responsible for the products we place on the EU market is:

This person verifies that the required technical documentation and safety information exist, keeps them available to market surveillance authorities, cooperates with those authorities, and informs them where a product presents a risk. Consumers and authorities may contact this person directly on product safety matters. The name and address also appear on the product pages of goods placed on the EU market and on our Product Safety page.

6. Data protection: EU representative

For the purposes of Article 27 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), our representative in the Union is:

Data subjects in the European Union and supervisory authorities may address this representative on all issues relating to the processing of personal data, in addition to or instead of contacting us directly. Contacting the representative does not reduce any right you have against us. Full detail of how we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy.

7. Manufacturer information for products

Where a product carries a vehicle manufacturer's own part number, the manufacturer identified on the product page is:

  • BYD Company Ltd.
  • EU contact: BYD Europe B.V., Schiedam, Netherlands

Aftermarket alternatives carry the name of the manufacturer that produced them, shown on the product page where that information is available to us.

8. Packaging, batteries and electrical equipment

Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste applies to goods placed on the EU market. Where we are required to appoint an authorised representative for packaging in a member state, we appoint one, and we restrict sales to member states where that appointment is in place. National registration numbers, once issued, are published on our Packaging and Battery Take-back page, together with the route for returning used packaging and used batteries to us free of charge.

A small number of parts contain a lithium cell, including certain key fobs and tyre pressure monitoring modules. Those parts trigger national battery and electrical equipment registration duties in several countries. Where the registration is not yet in place for your country, those parts are inquiry-only rather than sold at checkout. Batteries must never go in household waste. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the product means it is to be collected separately.

9. Alternative dispute resolution

We are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body, and we do not undertake to do so.

The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform has been discontinued. It stopped accepting new complaints on 20 March 2025 and closed on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. There is no successor platform, and a link to it would lead nowhere.

Complaints come to contact@evparto.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours, usually sooner, and answer within 14 days. Your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of habitual residence, set out in clause 18.3 of our Terms of Service, is unaffected by anything in this section, and so is your right to approach any national consumer body or ombudsman in your country.

10. Content, links and liability for this website

We prepare the content of this site with care. Technical data, fitment tables and cross references come from manufacturer catalogue sources and are offered as a guide. Corrections are made when errors are found. Clause 9 of our Terms of Service explains how product information works and what it does and does not warrant.

Where this site links to a third party site, we have no control over that site and take no responsibility for its content. Links are checked when they are added. If you find a link that leads somewhere it should not, tell us and we will remove it.

11. Intellectual property

The EVParto name, the EVParto logo, the site design, its text, its photographs, its taxonomy, its translations and its compilation of catalogue data are owned by Dragon Wagon Export Limited or by its licensors, and are protected by copyright and, where the jurisdiction recognises it, by the database right under Directive 96/9/EC. Clause 21 of our Terms of Service sets out what you may do with them and what you may not. Systematic copying and automated extraction are not permitted and we enforce that.

Vehicle manufacturer names, model names, logos and original equipment numbers belong to their respective owners.

12. Applicable law

The law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region governs this website and the contracts made through it. If you are a consumer, that choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country of habitual residence, as provided by Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I) and equivalent rules elsewhere. Clause 18 of our Terms of Service and our Your Rights by Country annex set this out in full.
