Frequently Asked Questions: OE 16726706-00
Is this seat for the driver side or the passenger side?
This is listed as the left side, fitted to the driver position on this model. If you are not certain which side counts as driver side on your car, or you want confirmation before ordering, use the quote route on this page and give the details of your car. That way someone can confirm the fitment for your specific vehicle before you commit to the price shown on this page, rather than working it out from the listing alone.
Will this seat fit my Yuan PLUS, or do I need to check anything first?
This listing is matched to one seat only, OE number 16726706-00, in Sandstone Brown. If the number on your old seat does not match that exactly, this is not your part, even if the car and colour look right. Find the number on the seat you are removing before you order, rather than going by model name alone. That single check is the difference between a straight swap and a seat that sits in a box because it was never yours to begin with.
The number on my old seat does not match 16726706-00, what now?
Do not fit this seat if the number on your old part does not match 16726706-00. Before ordering, check the old seat is on the left side of the car, at the front, and look at how it is fixed in place. Compare that against the driver front seat listed here for the BYD Yuan PLUS. If the side, position or fixings do not line up with what you see on the car, hold off and get the correct listing confirmed first.
How will a seat this size be delivered to me?
Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. The packaging details are shown on this page. Before ordering, match the OE number 16726706-00 against the model and the model year as written on your registration document, since that is the surest way to confirm you have the right seat. Check the trim colour against your own interior too, so the replacement matches what is already fitted.
Will this seat need trimming or finishing to match the interior?
No trimming is listed for this seat, it is supplied as the assembly described here in sandstone brown fabric. Before ordering, find the OE number stamped on the seat you are removing and check it against 16726706-00, or the alternative number SC2EV-6800010B-00ZA6, so you know the two match. If the numbers agree, no finishing work is needed once it is fitted. If you cannot find a stamped number, take a photo of the seat frame and mounting area instead.
