Frequently Asked Questions: OE 17599730-00
Will this headliner fit my BYD if it looks like a Yuan PLUS?
This headliner is matched to one OE number, 17599730-00, and one model, the BYD Yuan PLUS 2nd Gen. If your car is a similar BYD but you are not certain it is the same generation, do not order on memory or on a guess from the model name alone. Have the old headliner or its number in front of you before you buy, since a close looking model is not the same as a matching one. That is the only way to be sure this is the correct part for your car.
What if the number on my old headliner does not match this one?
If the number stamped or printed on your old headliner does not match 17599730-00, or the alternative reference SC2EV-5702010A-00YAP, this is not the part for your car. Do not assume a close number is close enough, since headliners are shaped and trimmed to a specific model and generation. Use the quote route on this page and give the number from your old part, so it can be checked against the correct listing before you commit to an order. That way you avoid buying a headliner that will not fit.
How will a headliner this size actually turn up at my door?
Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. The packaging details are shown on this page. Before it arrives, check the trim clips, sun visor mounts and grab handle fixings on your own roof lining, taking note of how each one comes away, so refitting goes smoothly once the new headliner is in your hands and you are ready to start the job of putting the interior back together.
Do I need to paint or finish this to match my interior?
Supplied in fabric, in Sandstone Beige, this headliner needs no painting or finishing before fitting. Sandstone Beige is the only colour listed for this part, so there is no shade choice to make. Compare the photographs on this page against your existing interior colour before you order, since it is easier to check now than after the part has arrived. Order on the colour shown here, not on the name alone, if you are not certain it matches your car.
Where on the car does this part actually go?
This part sits inside the car, fitted as the interior headliner, and is supplied as a complete assembly rather than a small trim piece. It is listed under interior and trim, in the carpet, mats and headliner group, which places it with the fabric linings of the cabin rather than the exterior panels. Check the fitment table on this page to confirm it lists your exact BYD Yuan PLUS 2nd Gen before you order, since this listing covers one model and generation only.
