About This Part
Moulded rubber engine bay weatherstrip (OE 13167872-00, alt SC2E-5307111) for the BYD Yuan PLUS family, covering the 2nd-Gen Yuan PLUS Smart Driving 2024-2026, Yuan PLUS Glory 2023-2025, Yuan PLUS Champion 2021-2025 and more. This hood seal follows the curved cowl line and carries integrated push clips along its length to snap into the body flange without adhesive. The soft rubber lip seals the gap at the front of the engine bay, keeping water and road noise out of the compartment. Fits the factory mounting points exactly as a direct replacement for a perished or torn original.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13167872-00
If the number on my old part is different from 13167872-00, what should I do?
This weatherstrip carries OE number 13167872-00, also listed as SC2E-5307111. If the number on your old part does not match either of these, do not assume it is the same seal. Use the quote route on this page and give the number and details from your old part, so it can be checked against the fitment table before you place an order. This saves you fitting a seal that does not match your car, and means you order the right one the first time.
How is a part this size delivered?
The packaging details for this weatherstrip are shown on this page. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. Have a look at the photographs on this page to see the shape and profile of the strip before it arrives. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 13167872-00.
Does it need painting or finishing to match my car?
No finishing is needed here. This weatherstrip is made of rubber and comes in black, so it is ready to fit as it is, with nothing to paint or trim to match the car. What you do need to get right is the fit itself, because a strip shaped for one position will not sit correctly in another. Check the side, the position and the fixings on your own car before you order, so you know it is going in the right place.
Where on the car does this fit?
This part is fitted in the engine bay, not at the doors, the boot or anywhere else on the car. It falls under Glass and Seals, a category that covers several strips fitted in different positions, so a similar looking part elsewhere on the list may not be this one. Before you order, look at the fitment table on this page and match the position given there against where the strip actually sits on your car, so you order the right one for that specific spot.
