Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13136585-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
How do I know this fits the left side and not the right?
This listing is for the left side. Before you order, check the number stamped on the wiper blade you are removing, or the OE number for the car, and match it against 13136585-00 or the alternative EM2E-5205110A shown here. If either number matches what is on the old part, you have the right side. If you cannot find a number on the old blade, use the fitment table on this page to confirm left or right before you order.
What is the difference between Original and Aftermarket here?
Only one quality tier is listed for this wiper blade, so there is no Original versus Aftermarket choice to weigh up on this listing. Before you order, take the old blade off the arm and have it in front of you. Check the fitting style where it clips or hooks onto the arm, and confirm the OE number 13136585-00 or the alternative reference EM2E-5205110A against what is stamped or printed on the old part. That comparison is what tells you this is the right one, not the description alone.
The number on my old blade does not match 13136585-00, what now?
Do not fit it on the strength of a similar looking blade. Check the fitment table on this page against your car to see whether this listing matches your model and year. If your car appears there, this is the correct blade regardless of what is stamped on the old one. If it does not appear, this is not the right part for your car and you should look for the listing that covers it instead of forcing a fit.
Does this wiper blade need painting or finishing before fitting?
No finishing work is needed here. This blade is black rubber as supplied, not a painted panel, so there is no colour code to match against your car. If you want to double check you have found the right listing before ordering, this same blade is also listed under the reference EM2E-5205110A, so search that alongside 13136585-00 to confirm you are looking at the same part. Once the references match, the blade is ready to fit without any further work on your part.
