Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14022050-00
The number on my old part does not match 14022050-00, what now?
Take the part off and check the number stamped or moulded on it against 14022050-00 before you order. This listing is built around that OE number, so if what you find does not match, do not fit this one. If the numbers differ, use the quote route on this page and give the details there so it can be checked properly before you commit to buying.
Will this gear selector be the right colour and finish for my dash, or does it need painting to match?
It is listed in black as supplied, with no mention of painting or finishing needed. Before you order, take a look at the old selector in front of you and compare its colour and finish to what you are expecting. If the two do not look the same, or the trim texture seems different, check the OE number stamped on the old part against 14022050-00 to be certain this is the correct match for your Bao 5.
Where does the gear selector fit in the car?
Have a look at the photographs on this page to see exactly where this assembly sits and how it is shaped, since that will help you match it against the unit you are holding. It is a black plastic assembly listed under OE number 14022050-00, also listed as SFH-1703010, new and made in China. Check the OE number on your old part against this one before you order, since that is what confirms a correct match.
