Frequently Asked Questions: OE 17492148-00
Will this head unit fit my BYD Yuan PLUS if it is a different trim or year?
This head unit is listed for the BYD Yuan PLUS only, and no other model appears against this OE number. If your car is a different generation or a closely related model, the mounting points and connector layout may still not match, even where the unit looks the same. Rather than judge it by eye, open the fitment table on this page and check your exact model and generation against the listing before you order, so the unit you receive sits and connects as it should.
The number on my old head unit does not match this one, what should I do?
Check the number stamped on the unit you are removing before you order this one. This listing carries OE number 17492148-00, also shown as SC2EW-7924200AA. If the number on your old part matches neither of these, this is not the correct listing for your car, whatever the screen or controls look like. Read the number carefully, since it can include both digits and letters, and compare it against both versions shown here before you place the order. A few seconds spent checking the old part now is quicker than sorting out the wrong head unit later.
Where on the car does this head unit go?
Fitted inside the car, this unit is listed simply as an interior part rather than anything under the bonnet or at the back. Beyond that general description, the photographs on this page are the best way to see its shape and exact position, since they show the packaging and unit rather than just a written note. Have a look at the images before you order, especially if you want to compare the shape and size against the part you are currently removing, so there is no surprise when the new unit arrives.
