Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13616398-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
How do I know if this is the right side for my car?
This is listed for the right side. Fitment on a headlamp is not always obvious from the road, so before ordering, find the OE number stamped on the part you are taking off and check it against 13616398-00 or its alternative listing ELEAD-4121020A. If either number matches, you have the correct side. Do not go by which side feels right from the driver seat, since left and right refer to the car as you sit facing forward.
What is the difference between the original and aftermarket versions of this headlamp?
This headlamp is listed in one version only, so there is no tier to compare here. It carries OE number 13616398-00 and is also listed as ELEAD-4121020A. Have a look at the photographs on this page to see exactly what you will receive, including the fitting points and the finish. If you are checking against the light on the car now, match the OE number on the old part before you order, since that number is the surest way to confirm the fit.
The number on my old headlamp is different, can I still use this one?
If the OE number on your old headlamp does not match 13616398-00 or its alternative listing ELEAD-4121020A, do not order on the number alone. Check the side, the position and the fixings on your own car against this listing, which is for the front, right side. If those three points match your car, this may still be the listing you need. If the side, the position or the fixings differ, this is not the correct part for your car, whatever the OE number on the box says.
