About This Part
Instrument panel left end trim panel assembly (OE 14889300-00, also referenced HA5H-5306830) is a black grained plastic cap that finishes the driver-side end of the dashboard where it meets the A-pillar. This dashboard end cap clips into place on the interior side and hides the fascia edge and wiring, so the textured finish should match the surrounding trim. It fits the BYD Qin PLUS DM-i (2025-2026), 2nd-Gen Qin PLUS EV Smart Driving (2024-2026) and 2nd-Gen Qin PLUS DM-i Smart Driving (2024-2025). A common replacement after a cracked or scuffed dash side trim.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14889300-00
Which end of the dashboard does this trim fit?
The left hand end. This one is marked Left, and side is always stated as you would see it from the driver's seat facing forward. On the dashboard that puts it at the outboard end nearest the left door, capping the end of the instrument panel. The right hand equivalent is a separate OE number on its own page. If your car is right hand drive, the left end is the passenger side, so work from the door rather than from which seat you sit in.
My old end trim has a different reference on it. Is this still the right listing?
Check it against both numbers on this page. The OE number is 14889300-00 and the alternative reference on this record is HA5H-5306830. A match on either one means you have the right listing. If neither matches what is printed on the piece you removed, do not order on appearance alone, because dashboard end trims from different models can look very similar. Send us the number you are reading along with your model and year, and we will confirm it against the fitment table on this page first.
What is the delivery timing on this trim?
Allow 8 to 25 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. The packaging details are on this page. If you are stripping the dash for other work, order early and let the trim arrive before you start. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 14889300-00.
Is this a plastic part?
Yes. The material is plastic. It is a moulded cosmetic trim finishing the end of the instrument panel, rather than a structural member behind it. If the dashboard underneath is cracked, this trim piece will not hide that from view, so it is worth checking before you order rather than after.
Will the black finish match my dashboard?
The colour is Black and the trim arrives finished, so nothing needs painting. Whether it matches is a question for your own car, because this piece sits at the end of the instrument panel where it is in plain sight next to the door. Compare the photograph on this page with the dash you are looking at, particularly the grain and the sheen. If the dashboard in your car is a different shade, ask us with your vehicle details before ordering and we will check what is listed for it.
Why is there no second option for this trim?
Only the Original/Genuine tier is available for this one. The part is a BYD genuine item with no aftermarket line for 14889300-00, so the single option at the price on this page is the entire choice. That reflects what can be sourced for this reference and nothing more. Where an aftermarket version exists, you would see the two tiers listed together on the page. If you want us to look for another supply route, use the quote route on this page and give us the OE number with your model and year.
