Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13451189-00
The number on my old strap is not 13451189-00, what now?
Check the fitment table on this page for your exact model and generation, since the correct line will confirm whether this strap is the right one for your car. The listing also shows SC2EM-6209100 as an alternative reference, so it is worth checking against either number before you order. Matching the fitment table is the surest way to avoid ordering the wrong strap for your BYD Yuan PLUS.
What is the check strap made of?
It is made of metal. Before you order, match the model and the model year shown on your registration document to the fitment table on this page, since check straps are model specific. If your BYD Yuan PLUS matches, check the OE number on the old strap against 13451189-00 or the listed alternative SC2EM-6209100 to be sure you are ordering the correct part for your car.
Does this strap need painting to match the car?
No. It is a black metal fitting hidden inside the door, not a visible trim piece, so there is no finish to match and nothing to paint. Before you order, take a look at the number stamped on the part you are removing. If it reads 13451189-00 or the alternative SC2EM-6209100, you have the correct strap and it can go straight in as it comes.
Where does the rear door check strap fit on the BYD Yuan PLUS?
This is listed for the rear door on the BYD Yuan PLUS, matched to OE number 13451189-00. Check that number against the one stamped or printed on the strap you are removing before you order, since a rear fitting will not match a front one. Delivery takes 8 to 25 days from your order to your door.
