Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13987122-00
What if the number on my old hose is different to this one?
If the number stamped on your old hose does not match 13987122-00, do not assume it will still fit. This assembly is listed only under this OE number, with the alternate reference SFH-5207320 also shown for the same part. Rather than guess from the number alone, open the fitment table on this page and check your model against it before ordering, since a washer hose that looks similar can still be the wrong shape for your car.
Will this rear washer hose need painting to match the car?
No, it does not need painting. It is a black rubber hose fitted underbody, not a visible trim piece, so finish is not something you need to think about. Before fitting, look at where the old hose runs on the rear of your own car, note which side it sits on and how it is clipped or fixed along its length. Match that layout to the new one so it sits and connects the same way. This is a moulded assembly, made to the OE number 13987122-00, so it goes in as a complete replacement rather than something you can trim or adapt to fit.
Where on the car does this hose sit?
This hose is fitted to the underbody at the rear of the car, as part of the rear washer system. That is a part of the car you may not look at often, so the description alone may not tell you exactly what you are looking for. Look at the photographs on this page to see where it sits and how it connects, then compare that against your own car before you take the old hose off and fit the replacement.
