About This Part
Tailgate wiring harness for the BYD 2nd-Gen Yuan PLUS Smart Driving (2024-2026). Supplied as OE 17566849-00 with reference SC2EV-4002700D, this taped rear hatch wiring loom routes power and signal from the body through the rubber grommet into the tailgate, feeding the latch, lamps and rear-view devices via colour-keyed connectors. The moulded boot and pre-formed branches match the factory clip points for a clean, correct run. Chafed insulation or a cracked connector on a boot lid wiring loom causes intermittent faults, so a complete harness restores reliable rear-hatch operation.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 17566849-00
Will this fit my Yuan PLUS?
This harness is listed for one model only, the BYD Yuan PLUS, so it is not a match for anything else even if the connectors look alike. Before you order, look at the old harness fitted in the tailgate door and find any number stamped or printed on it. If that number is not 17566849-00 or the alternate SC2EV-4002700D, do not fit this one, order against the number you found instead.
What if the number on my old harness is different from this one?
If the number on your old harness does not match 17566849-00, do not assume it is close enough and fit this one anyway. Take the number you have found from the old part and use the quote route on this page, where it can be checked against this listing before you commit to buying. That way you place one order that matches your tailgate, rather than fitting a harness now and finding out afterwards that it was the wrong one.
How does something this size get delivered to me?
Packaging details are shown on this page. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. This tailgate wiring harness is listed for the BYD Yuan PLUS under OE number 17566849-00. Once it arrives, match that OE number against the model and model year shown on your registration document before fitting. Checking the number on the old harness first is the surest way to confirm you have ordered the right part for your car.
Is this the harness that runs through the tailgate on my BYD Yuan PLUS?
Yes, this is listed as the rear harness fitted at the tailgate on the BYD Yuan PLUS, matched to OE 17566849-00, also listed as SC2EV-4002700D. Before you order, take the old harness out and check the number stamped or printed on it against 17566849-00. Numbers on wiring harnesses can be easy to misread, and the fitment table on this page will not save you if the old part in your hand carries a different code. Match the number first, then order with confidence.
