Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14088655-00
Does this windscreen fit other BYD models?
This glass is listed for the BYD Yuan UP only, and no other model or trim appears against this OE number. If your car is close to this model but not an exact match, do not assume the glass is interchangeable, since nothing here confirms it fits anything else. Use the quote route on this page and give the exact model, trim and year, so the fitment can be checked properly before you place an order for a screen this size.
The OE number on my old windscreen does not match 14088655-00, what now?
A different number does not automatically rule this glass out or in. Before ordering, look at the side, the position and the fixings on your own car and compare them with what is shown here, since these details tell you more than the number alone. If everything matches, the glass is likely correct. If you are still unsure, use the quote route on this page and give the details of your car so it can be checked properly before you commit to an order.
How will a windscreen this big actually get delivered to me?
Expect this to arrive as one large pane, with packaging details shown on this page. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. Before you commit to this listing, check the number stamped on the part you are taking off, since a pane this size is worth getting right first time. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote.
Where on the car does this windscreen actually go?
At the front of the car is where this screen sits, fitted to the exterior as the glass panel ahead of the driver, and it is supplied new. It is also listed under the reference SC3E-5206010A, which is worth having to hand if a supplier quote or parts list uses that number instead of the OE number above. Should you already hold this alternative reference from elsewhere, it points to the same part, so check it against your own paperwork before placing the order.
