Bonnet Heat Shield for Fangchengbao Bao 5, OE 15823945-00

Check both numbers before you decide anything. This shield carries the OE number 15823945-00 and the alternative reference SFHA-8402821A. Either can be the one printed on the part you are taking off, and both lead to this listing. On a soft shield the marking is often faint, so look at it in good light before ruling it out. If what you read matches neither reference, do not order from the shape of the cut-outs. Send a photograph of the old shield and its label through the quote route and we will match it against the OE number for you.

There are two separate periods. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. Should the date matter more than anything else, say so through the quote route with the OE number 15823945-00 and we will tell you where this one stands. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 15823945-00.

The packaging details are shown on this page. Make sure there is room at the delivery address to take the parcel in flat, without folding it, and that somebody is there to receive it. Never let it be bent to fit. If access at your address is tight, on a narrow street or otherwise restricted, tell us through the quote route with the OE number 15823945-00 before the order goes on, and we will confirm what can be arranged.

The material for this part is foam. That explains the shape of the packing and the light weight, and it is also why the shield wants storing flat and dry until the car is ready for it. Foam can take a crease if it is leaned up against a wall or stacked under heavier parts, and a crease across a panel this size is hard to work out again. Nothing more than the material is given here, so if you need detail on the backing or the fixings, ask through the quote route quoting 15823945-00.

The mounting position is the engine bay, at the front of the car, and the part belongs with insulation rather than with visible trim. So it is out of sight with the bonnet shut and only comes into view when the bonnet is raised. If you are replacing one that has come away, look over the fixing points on the car itself before ordering, since a shield will not stay put on damaged mountings. Then match the OE number 15823945-00 against your variant in the fitment table on this page.

This one appears in the Original/Genuine tier only, with Fangchengbao as the maker. No Aftermarket equivalent is offered against the OE number, so there is nothing to weigh up between tiers and the price shown on this page applies to the genuine part. If you want us to look for anything else that would fit your car, use the quote route with the OE number 15823945-00 and we will tell you what comes back. If not, the fitment table on this page is the last thing to check before you order.
