About This Part
Coolant pipe assembly (No. 13) for the BYD Yuan PLUS cooling system, OE 17522955-00 (also SC2EV-1303220). This S-bend rubber coolant hose carries a braided sleeve, a bolt-down valve fitting at one end and a barbed connector at the other for its place in the thermal loop. It fits the 2nd-Gen Yuan PLUS Smart Driving 2024-2026. A matched cooling pipe keeps coolant routing sealed and correctly positioned, distinct from OE 15645083-00.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 17522955-00
Will this coolant pipe fit my BYD if it is not exactly a Yuan PLUS?
Only the BYD Yuan PLUS is shown against OE 17522955-00, with no other model listed alongside it. If your car is a close relation or a different trim, do not assume the pipe matches on looks alone. Use the quote route on this page and give the details of your car, so the fitment can be checked properly before you commit to an order. That is the safest way to avoid ordering the wrong pipe for a similar looking model.
The number on my old pipe does not match 17522955-00, what now?
Leave the new one boxed and go back to the car. Look at where the old pipe sits in the engine bay, which side it comes from, and how it is fixed in place, then compare that against this listing before you order. If the side, position or fixings do not line up with what you see on the car, hold off and check again rather than fitting it anyway. Getting this right first means the pipe goes straight on without any fettling once it arrives.
Is this coolant pipe made of metal or plastic?
This pipe is made of metal, finished in black. To be sure you order the right one, look for the number stamped on the pipe you are taking off and check it against OE number 17522955-00, or use the fitment table on this page. That is the quickest way to confirm a match for your Yuan PLUS before you buy.
Where on the car does this pipe actually go?
This pipe sits in the engine bay, within the cooling system group of hoses, tanks and sensors. Knowing exactly which pipe among several runs to this point can be hard to judge from a written description alone. Look at the photographs on this page and match the shape, the bends and the fixing points against the pipe in your hands before you order, especially where more than one similar pipe sits close together in that area.
