Frequently Asked Questions: OE 18368835-00
How do I know this is the right side and not the left?
This is listed as the right side. To be certain it matches your car, take off the old trim panel and look for the OE number stamped or moulded on it, then compare that against 18368835-00 or the alternative reference HA5H-6800220. If either number matches, you have the correct side. Ordering by memory of which side felt like the right one is where mix ups happen, so the number on the part itself is the one to trust.
The OE number on my old part is not the same as this one, what should I do?
A different OE number on your old part does not tell you on its own whether this one fits. Rather than guess, use the quote route on this page and give the number from your old part, along with details of your car. That lets it be checked against 18368835-00 before you order, rather than after the new panel is sitting on the bench next to the old one. This costs a few minutes and settles the question properly instead of leaving it to chance.
Will this trim cover need painting to match my car?
No, it comes finished in black and needs no painting or matching. Check the OE number on the old part against 18368835-00 before you order. This is listed for the right side, so confirm which side is fitted on your car, how it sits against the seat frame, and the fixings holding it in place, before you commit to an order. It is also listed under the reference HA5H-6800220, which can help if the marking on your old part differs.
