About This Part
External audio amplifier for the BYD Tang L multimedia system, the finned power unit that drives the vehicle speakers from the head unit signal. Frequently Asked Questions: OE 16286679-00
My amplifier has a different label. Is this the same part?
It may well be. This listing holds OE number 16286679-00 along with the alternative reference SRH-7909100, and the two describe the same item. Read the label on the unit fitted to your car before you decide anything, and take down the whole string rather than the first few characters of it. If your label matches neither reference, send a photograph of it through the quote route. We will confirm it against the OE number, which is the only reliable way to settle a question about an electronic unit.
What is the delivery timing on this amplifier?
The delivery time is 8 to 25 days, from order to door. If you have an audio job booked with an installer, get the amplifier in your hands before you confirm the appointment. Where the date genuinely cannot move, ask us about OE number 16286679-00 first and we will confirm the position on it for you. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay.
Where is this amplifier mounted?
This amplifier sits in the interior of the car rather than under the bonnet or beneath the floor. It has no left or right version, so there is no separate side to choose between. Since it lives inside the cabin, getting to it usually means trim removal rather than mechanical work, which is worth knowing before you start. Check the fitment table on this page against your own car, and if you are unsure where the existing unit sits, ask your installer to identify it before you buy.
Why is there just one version of this amplifier?
Because only the Original/Genuine unit from BYD is listed under OE number 16286679-00. No Aftermarket line exists for it, so the price shown on this page is the only figure attached to the item and there is no second tier to consider. When a part does carry an Aftermarket version, you see both tiers priced on the page and pick one, which cannot happen here. If you would like us to search for another source, use the quote route with the OE number and your car's details.
