About This Part
The front door check strap sets the open positions of the front door and holds it steady at each detent on the BYD Seagull, covering Seagull Smart Driving (2025-2026), Seagull Glory (2023-2025) and the standard Seagull (2023-2025). It carries OE 13571635-00 and supplier number EQEA-6109100, and mounts to the door and A-pillar through the two threaded studs. Also known as a door checker or door limiter, the forged link keeps the door from over-swinging into the front wing. One unit fits the specified front door.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13571635-00
What if the number on my old part is different from this one?
If the number on your old strap does not match 13571635-00, stop before you fit it. Open the photographs on this page and check the shape of the arm, the mounting holes and the pivot end against the part you have removed. A door strap that looks close but is not quite right will bind or refuse to seat properly. Get the visual match right before you order, so the strap you fit is the one your door actually needs.
What is this door check strap made of?
This check strap is made of metal, so it carries a bit of weight and holds its shape once fitted. That matters most when it comes to fitting it in the right place, since a metal strap will not flex to make up for being on the wrong side or in the wrong position. Check the side, the position and the fixings on your own car before you order, because a check strap fitted to the wrong door will not line up with the hinge or the mounting points already there.
Where on the car does this door check strap fit?
Fitted to the front door, this part is not to be used on the rear door or any other panel on the car. That is the position listed for it, so make sure that is the side of the car you actually need before ordering. Look at the fitment table on this page and match it against your exact model, since a strap listed for the front door is not interchangeable with one for the rear. Confirming this before you order saves ordering the wrong end of the car.
