Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13493237-00
How do I know this is the correct side for my car?
Side is stated as left for this listing. Before you order, have the old part in front of you and match it against this one, checking which side of the car it comes from and how it sits underbody. That direct comparison against what you are holding is the reliable way to confirm this is the correct part for your car. Do this check before ordering rather than after the part arrives, so you get the correct side first time.
What if the number on my old part is not the same as this one?
If the number stamped on your old part reads differently from OE 13493237-00, do not assume it is a mismatch and stop there. This part is also listed as SA3EA-3102630A, so check that alternative first. If neither number matches, use the quote route on this page and give the details you have. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote.
How will a part this size be delivered?
The packaging details are shown on this page. There is nothing about the delivery itself that needs special planning. What is worth doing beforehand is checking the side, the position and the fixings on your own car, since this part is fitted underbody and you want everything lined up before you start work. Check the OE number on the old shield against 13493237-00 before you fit the new one, since this is listed for the left side of the BYD Song PLUS EV.
What material is this shield made from?
This shield is made of plastic and finished in black, and is supplied new rather than a used or reclaimed item. Before you order, check the model and the model year as written on your registration document, because this listing is specific to the BYD Song PLUS EV. Confirming those details against your documents first makes sure the shield you receive matches your car rather than a similarly named version.
Will I need to paint or finish this to match my car?
Black is the only finish listed here, with no alternative offered. Whether that matches the trim on your own car is something to check before ordering, since this is the sole colour available. Look at the photographs on this page to see the exact finish and shape, then compare that against the old part fitted to your car. That comparison will show whether it matches as it stands, since no other version exists to choose instead.
