Frequently Asked Questions: OE 17556825-00
What if the number on my old part is not 17556825-00?
Check the number stamped on your old unit against 17556825-00. If it does not match, do not assume this is still the right controller. This listing covers that OE number only, so any other number needs checking against the fitment table on this page before you order. That table will confirm whether your Bao 5 takes this part, and if it does not, it will point you to the right listing instead of leaving you to guess.
Where does the general-purpose controller for the Bao 5 fit in the car?
It sits inside the cabin as a control unit for the vehicle electronics, not somewhere you would spot by looking under the bonnet. Because it carries the OE number 17556825-00, the surest way to confirm it matches your car is to compare that number against the one on your old unit before fitting. If you are working from paperwork rather than the part itself, use the model and model year on your registration document to match against the fitment table on this page. This unit is listed only as new, made by Fangchengbao, so there is no other condition or version to weigh up here.
