Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13205297-00
How do I know this is the right side and not the left?
This listing is for the right headlamp, OE number 13205297-00, also listed as EM2E-4121020B. Have the old unit out and compare its OE number against the one shown here before you order, since a right and left headlamp look similar but are not interchangeable. It is new, made of plastic. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote.
What is the difference between Original/Genuine and Aftermarket for this headlamp?
Original/Genuine and Aftermarket are the two tiers you will see against this headlamp. Look at the photographs on this page before you choose, since a right-hand headlamp is a shaped assembly rather than a simple part, and the lens and housing you see in each photograph are what you will actually receive. Match what is shown to the unit currently fitted to your BYD Dolphin, checking the lens shape and housing against your old part, and pick whichever image lines up with it.
The number on my old headlamp does not match 13205297-00, what now?
Check the side first, since this is listed for the right, then confirm the position on the car, front, and look at how the unit is fixed in place, the mounting points and connector layout. If those match your old part, the difference in numbers may just reflect a running change or a listed cross reference such as EM2E-4121020B. If the fixings or side do not match, do not fit it. Use the fitment table on this page to confirm before you order.
