Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14129135-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
How do I know this is the right side for my BYD Seagull?
This listing is for the right headlamp, matched to OE number 14129135-00, also listed as EQEA-4121020B. Right and left refer to the car as you sit in the driver seat facing forward. Before ordering, use the quote route on this page to confirm the side against the number on your old headlamp, so the one you receive matches the one coming off the car.
Whats the difference between original and aftermarket for this headlamp?
Original or Genuine means the headlamp comes from BYD, listed here as the genuine maker of this part. Aftermarket is the alternative option offered instead. Both match the same OE number, 14129135-00, so either should suit the same right hand front fitting point. Before you choose, look at the model and the model year exactly as printed on your registration document, and match those details against the fitment table on this page.
The number on my old headlamp does not match 14129135-00, what now?
Do not fit this one on the strength of the vehicle alone. This headlamp is also listed under EQEA-4121020B, so a different number on your old part is not automatically a mismatch. Check the number stamped on the headlamp you are removing against OE 14129135-00 and EQEA-4121020B before you order, since that stamped number is the surest way to confirm you are buying the correct replacement.
