About This Part
Left front shock absorber strut for the BYD Han EV, OE 13579765-00 (also referenced HCEF-2905100E). The hydraulic damper carries the upper mount plate, the welded steering knuckle bracket and a piston rod, controlling body movement over bumps. It fits the Han EV Genesis 2021-2024, Han EV Champion 2022-2023 and Han EV Glory 2021-2023. This is the left-hand strut, matched by the right-hand 13579767-00, and is also called a suspension strut or damper. Replace struts in axle pairs. Safety critical suspension part.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13579765-00
Can I just add this to my basket and check out online?
No, this one goes through the quote route on this page rather than a straight checkout. Before you use it, confirm the side and position against the old unit, since this is listed as the left front shock absorber assembly and fits underbody. Check the fixings on your car match what you are removing, then take those details into the quote route so the right part gets matched to your Han EV. Getting the side wrong here is the easiest mistake to make when ordering.
How do I know this is the left side one and not the right?
This is the left front shock absorber, listed for the BYD Han EV, OE number 13579765-00, also shown as HCEF-2905100E. Left and right sit on opposite sides of the car and are not interchangeable, so fitting the wrong one will not line up. Before ordering, check the model and the model year as written on your registration document. If those match this listing, the left front is the one you need for this side of the car.
The number on my old part does not match 13579765-00, can I still order this?
No, order against the number stamped or printed on the part you are removing, not the one on this page. Wipe the old shock absorber clean near the top mount and body, and look for the sequence there before you buy. If it does not match 13579765-00 or the alternative reference HCEF-2905100E, hold off ordering this listing. Getting the correct number from the old part is the surest way to avoid fitting problems on a Han EV, since this is a left front assembly and there is no equivalent right hand listing here to fall back on.
Can I fit this myself or does it need a garage?
That depends on your confidence with suspension work rather than anything special about this part. If you want to double check what you are ordering before deciding, this shock absorber is also listed under the reference HCEF-2905100E, so you can search that alongside the OE number 13579765-00 to confirm it matches what your BYD Han EV needs. Once you are sure it is the right part, check the fitment table on this page for full confirmation before it arrives.
What is this shock absorber made of?
It is metal, finished in black, and arrives new rather than reconditioned. This is an enquiry only item, so once you have checked it against the fitment table on this page, use the quote route on this page to arrange it. Check it against the OE number on the strut you are replacing, so you know the left front assembly ordered is the correct one for your Han EV.
