About This Part
Piano black upper trim panel for the left roof rail and pillar of the BYD Sealion 05 EV (2025-2026), housing and concealing the side curtain airbag. Carrying OE reference 18696894-00 and secondary number UNEA-2803115/77-00BX, this moulded plastic pillar cover clips over the airbag module and finishes the cabin edge in a gloss black surface. As a restraint-related cover it must be refitted correctly so the curtain airbag deploys along its designed path. Sold as the left-hand panel only. The right side is a separate part.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 18696894-00
Is this the left or right side trim panel?
This one is for the left side, OE 18696894-00, fitted inside the car over the left curtain airbag along the door and pillar. Piano black plastic, new. Before you order, look at the photographs on this page and check the shape against the panel currently in the car, since left and right trims are mirror images and easy to mix up if you are working from memory rather than the part in front of you. A few seconds spent comparing saves a wrong order.
Why does this only fit one model, and what if mine is similar?
This panel fits one model only, with nothing else shown alongside it. If your car is closely related but not the one named here, do not go by resemblance alone. Check the number stamped on the part you are removing and compare it with OE 18696894-00 or the alternative reference UNEA-2803115/77-00BX before ordering anything. That stamped number is what confirms a match, not how closely the two cars are related to each other.
The number on my old part is different, what do I do?
Check the side first, this is the left one, then look at where it sits on the pillar or door and how it is fixed in place on your own car. If the position and fixings do not match what you have removed, this is not the right trim panel for your vehicle. The OE number quoted here is 18696894-00, also listed as UNEA-2803115/77-00BX, so it is worth comparing both against your old part before ordering.
Do I need a professional to fit this trim panel?
There are no separate fitting instructions for this panel, so the fitment table on this page is the place to confirm it suits your specific car before anything else. It is a trim piece rather than a mechanical assembly, made of plastic, so handling it is straightforward once fit is confirmed. Fitting it yourself or handing it to someone else comes down to your own confidence with interior trim.
When can I expect this trim panel to be delivered?
This left side curtain airbag trim panel for the BYD Sealion 05 EV can be ordered straight away from this page. The delivery time is 8 to 28 days, from order to door. Before you order, check the number on the panel you are removing against OE 18696894-00, which is worth doing given how specific this panel is to one car. If the numbers differ, use the quote route on this page and we will confirm the match against the OE number.
Does this need painting to match my car?
No painting is needed here. The panel comes finished in piano black plastic, ready to fit as supplied. For extra confidence that the finish and shape are right for your car, check the alternative reference UNEA-2803115/77-00BX for this part and compare it with any reference marked on your old trim. A match there, alongside OE 18696894-00, tells you the finish is correct without needing to open the box and check by eye first.
