Rear Seat Belt (Right) for the BYD Sealion 05 EV (2025-2026), OE 14258359-00, also listed as UNE-5812020A. The unit combines the woven webbing, retractor mechanism, and mounting hardware into one factory-matched safety restraint. Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14258359-00
How do I know this is the right side belt for my car?
This listing covers the right rear seat belt assembly. To confirm it matches your car, look at the OE number stamped on the belt you are taking out and compare it against 14258359-00, or check for the alternative reference UNE-5812020A. If either number matches what is stamped on your old belt, this is the correct part. Once you have confirmed the number, you can go ahead and order with confidence that you have picked the right side.
Will this rear seat belt fit my Sealion 05, and what if my car is a different trim?
This listing covers the rear right belt for the BYD Sealion 05 EV, OE 14258359-00, also listed as UNE-5812020A. Look at the photographs on this page and compare the buckle end and the mounting points with the belt currently fitted in your car. If your trim differs in any way you can see in the pictures, do not order on the model name alone. The OE number on your old belt, if you can find it, is the surest way to confirm a match before you buy.
The number on my old belt is different, what should I do?
If the number stamped on your old belt does not match 14258359-00 or UNE-5812020A, do not fit this part expecting it to be correct. Rather than guessing, use the quote route on this page and give the number from your old belt along with the details of your car. Someone can then check it against this listing and confirm whether it is the right part or point you to the correct one. That takes a few minutes and avoids ordering a part that will not fit your car.
Can I fit a rear right seat belt myself, or does it need a garage?
Before you start, look at how the belt on your car anchors at the side, the seat position and the fixings holding it in place. Those are what determine whether this is a straightforward swap or a bigger job. Compare them against the old belt while it is still in the car so you know what you are dealing with before you order. This is the only version of this belt listed for the Sealion 05 EV, so check the OE number against the old part first to be sure it matches.
