Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14277126-00
How do I know this is the right side seat belt for my car?
This listing is for the right rear seat belt, OE number 14277126-00, also listed as URE-5812020. Before ordering, take the belt out of your car and compare its OE number with the one shown here. If the numbers match, this is the correct part for your Fangchengbao Tai 3. If you cannot find or read the number, use the fitment table on this page to confirm the right side before you order.
Will this fit my Tai 3, or do I need to check something first?
This listing covers the one fitment shown, so it is worth confirming before you order rather than after. Have the old belt assembly out and in front of you, and check the OE number 14277126-00 stamped or printed on it against this page. If the numbers do not line up, it is a different assembly even if the car looks the same from the outside. Matching the number on the part in your hand is the only way to be certain, since seat belt fittings can vary between trims and build dates in ways that are not obvious just from looking at the car.
The number on my old belt does not match 14277126-00, what now?
Do not fit it on the strength of the old number alone. Pull out your registration document and check the model and the model year shown there, then match those against the fitment table on this page before you order. If your model and year sit outside what is listed there, the assembly is not the right one for your car. A seat belt has to match exactly, so a few minutes checking now saves a return trip later.
Can I fit this rear seat belt myself or does it need a professional?
This is listed under a second reference as well as its OE number, URE-5812020, which is worth having ready if you need to check stock or confirm compatibility before ordering. Seat belt work sits close to a car's safety systems, so it is worth having a qualified fitter carry out the installation rather than doing it yourself. Once you are ready to order, use the fitment table on this page to confirm it matches your Tai 3 before checkout.
