Front Wheel Arch Liner (Right) for BYD Seal 05, OE 14997046-00

This is the right hand side part and it sits at the front, listed as the Right Front Mudguard. Sides are always called from the driver's seat looking forward, so on a right hand drive car this is the front arch on the driver's side. Kneel by the wheel you are replacing and settle the side before you order, because the two hands are separate listings and they are not interchangeable. If you want the other one, the left hand front version sits alongside this one under its own OE number.

It does. This part carries 14997046-00 as the OE number and HA6HA-3102120 as an alternative reference for the same part, so either number brings you here. Makers mark parts and catalogue them under different sequences, which is why the two rarely look alike. Check both against what is printed or moulded on your old mudguard. If you find a number that matches neither, stop there and send a photograph of the old part and its label through the quote route on this page before you order anything.

Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 14997046-00. If anything about the timing matters for a booked repair, ask through the quote route on this page. Keep the packaging until you have compared the new part with the one you removed.

The packaging details are shown on this page. The box decides how it travels rather than the weight does, so check those details before it is due. Make sure the delivery address can take a box of that shape and that somebody will be there to receive it. Sending it straight to the workshop fitting it is usually easier than sending it home.

This panel is made of plastic, a light moulded part rather than a metal pressing. Handle it flat and unwrap it at the point of fitting so the face does not get marked being carried around a workshop. Grade and fixing details are a question for your fitter, who can check them against the vehicle in front of them using OE number 14997046-00.

This part is black and it mounts on the outside of the car, so it will be seen from the side once the wheel is back on. It comes in that black finish and nothing here says it is primed or supplied ready for spraying. If the arch area on your car has been painted at some point, hold the new part against the old one in daylight before it goes on, and ask your body shop what they would do about any difference. We cannot tell you how the surface behaves under paint.

Only the Original/Genuine version is available for OE number 14997046-00. BYD is named as the genuine manufacturer and no aftermarket manufacturer is offered for it, so a second tier does not exist here to compare. Nothing is being held back from you. The choice simply is not there on this part. Where both tiers do exist, they sit on the same page and you pick. If you would like us to search wider before you order this one, send the OE number and a photograph of the old part through the quote route on this page.
