Frequently Asked Questions: OE 17954693-00
Will this steering wheel fit my car if it is not a Bao 5?
This listing is built for the Fangchengbao Bao 5 against OE number 17954693-00, and no other model is listed here. If your car is a different model, do not order on the strength of a similar look. Look at the side the wheel sits on, where it lines up against the column, and how the switches and fixings are mounted on your own car, then compare that against what is shown here before you commit. If any of that differs, this is not your part.
The number on my old wheel does not match this one, what now?
Do not fit this until you have checked. Take the old wheel out and read its number before you order, then compare it against the OE number 17954693-00 shown here. If the two do not match, this is not the right wheel for your car. Matching numbers is the only way to be sure, since a wheel can look right and still be wrong. Confirm this first, then place your order with confidence.
Can I fit this steering wheel myself, or does it need a garage?
Whether you fit this yourself or leave it to a garage is your call, since nothing here rules out either. Before you start, check the OE number stamped on the wheel currently on the car against 17954693-00, the number listed for this Storm Beige wheel for the Fangchengbao Bao 5. This is the only version listed, so that check is what confirms you have the right one. Match it against your old part's marking before ordering or fitting, rather than going on the vehicle model alone.
Where does this steering wheel fit on the Bao 5?
This is listed under steering column and wheel, fitted to the interior of the car, and it is made for the Fangchengbao Bao 5 carrying OE number 17954693-00. Before ordering, check the model and model year shown on your registration document against the fitment table on this page, since the Bao 5 has been built across more than one year and the wheel needs to match your exact build. Getting the model year right here avoids ordering the wrong steering wheel for your car.
