Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13994531-00
What if the number on my old part is different from this one?
Check the number stamped on your old guard before you order, since this listing is built around OE number 13994531-00, also listed as SFHA-2801730. If the number on your part reads differently, do not assume the two are interchangeable just because the panel looks similar. Find the stamp on the panel you are removing, usually on the metal itself, and compare it character by character against the numbers given here. If you cannot get a clear match, hold off ordering until you have confirmed which number is correct for your car, since this is the only version of the panel listed here.
How does a guard panel this size actually turn up at my door?
It comes as one packaged item, and the packaging details are shown on this page. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. When it arrives, match it against the side, the position and the fixings on your own car before you start removing the old guard, so the new panel goes on the way it came off.
What is the guard panel made of?
It is metal, finished in black. That construction is why it is fitted underneath the car to shield the battery pack rather than being a cosmetic trim piece. Look at the photographs on this page to see the panel shape and finish before you order, so you know exactly what will turn up. Check the listed OE number, 13994531-00, against the number on your old guard to make sure it is the right one for your Bao 5.
Does this guard need painting or finishing to match the car?
No painting is needed. It comes in black metal, ready to fit as supplied. Before you order, have the old guard in front of you and check the OE number stamped or printed on it against 13994531-00 listed here, since this panel is also known by the code SFHA-2801730 and a mismatch is easy to miss on a part this size. Matching the number on the part in your hand to the one on this page is the surest way to know it is the right one for your Bao 5.
Where does this guard fit on the car?
This panel sits underneath the car, fixed to the underbody where it shields the battery pack from stone strikes and road debris below. It is listed for the Fangchengbao Bao 5 against OE number 13994531-00, also shown as SFHA-2801730, and this is the only version listed for that position. Rather than fitting it by guesswork, use the quote route on this page and let the details you enter confirm it is the right guard for your car before you commit to an order.
