Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13623367-00
What is the difference between the two quality tiers?
Original/Genuine means the bonnet is supplied to the exact specification of the vehicle maker, while Aftermarket is produced independently to fit the same model. For this bonnet, the fitment table on this page shows which tier is listed for your Yuan PLUS. Use the OE number, 13623367-00, alongside the table to confirm you are ordering the correct tier before you check out.
What if the number on my old bonnet does not match 13623367-00?
Look at the number stamped on the bonnet currently fitted to your car rather than relying on memory or the model name alone. If that number differs from OE 13623367-00, this listing is unlikely to be the correct one for your BYD Yuan PLUS, even if the car looks identical to yours in every other way. Matching the stamped number is the only reliable way to confirm the assembly fits, since two similar looking bonnets can carry different numbers across build changes.
How will a bonnet this size be delivered?
This bonnet's packaging details are shown on this page. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. Have a look at the photographs on this page to see the shape of the packaged item before it turns up at your door. Before it arrives, check the fitment table on this page to confirm this bonnet matches your BYD Yuan PLUS.
What is this bonnet made of?
Metal, not plastic or composite, is what this bonnet is made from. It sits at the front of the car as the assembly that covers the engine bay, so it needs to align with the fixings already on your vehicle. Rather than assume it fits because the car looks right, check the position and the fixings on your own car before you order, since a metal panel of this kind depends on those points lining up precisely to sit and close as it should.
Where does this bonnet fit on the Yuan PLUS?
It fits at the front of the car, over the engine bay, and forms the front lid you open to reach the engine. It is a metal assembly, supplied under OE number 13623367-00. Before you order, take your registration document and match the model and the model year written on it to your car, since the same bonnet is not always used across every year of build. That single check is what tells you this is the right bonnet for your Yuan PLUS.
