Right Bonnet Hinge for BYD Yuan PLUS, OE 13174828-00

Yes, this listing is for the right hand hinge, fitted at the front of the engine bay. If the hinge on your car is fitted on the other side, this part will not fit in its place. Before ordering, check the fitment table on this page against your own car so you are certain which side you need. Confirming this first means you order the correct side straight away.

This hinge is listed as coming from BYD, the genuine maker, under OE number 13174828-00, also listed as SC2E-8402619. Rather than guess from a description, look at the photographs on this page to see the actual finish and markings on this hinge before you order. That gives a clearer sense of what you are buying than a written specification alone. If you already have the old hinge in hand, compare it against what is shown before committing to this listing, since the OE number is the most reliable check either way.

If the number stamped on your old hinge does not match 13174828-00, do not assume this is the wrong part straight away. This hinge is also listed under the reference SC2E-8402619, so check your old part against that number as well before ruling it out. If neither number matches, this is not the hinge for your car and you should keep looking rather than fit it and hope.

This hinge is made of metal and is supplied new. Because it is metal rather than plastic, it is solid to handle and straightforward to check against the old part before fitting. Take a look at the side, the position and the fixings on your own car and compare them with this hinge, so you know it matches before you start work. That comparison is what confirms you have the right part in hand.
