Built from bare zinc-coated metal with a spring-loaded catch and an ajar sensor lead, this hood latch secures the bonnet at the front of the engine bay under OE reference 13992192-00 (alternate SFH-8402530). The primary and secondary catches hold the bonnet shut and give the safety hook when released. The integrated switch signals bonnet-open status to the vehicle.
