Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13151989-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
What is the difference between the Original/Genuine and Aftermarket versions?
Original/Genuine means the lamp comes from BYD, built to the exact spec of the part fitted at the factory. Aftermarket is made to fit and function the same way, without coming from BYD itself. Before choosing either, check the OE number stamped on the lamp you are removing against 13151989-00 or the listed alternative EM2E-4107300, since a match there confirms this is the right centre tail lamp for your Dolphin. If the number differs, do not fit this part. Use the fitment table on this page to double check before you order.
The number on my old lamp is different, what do I do?
A different number on your old lamp does not automatically rule this one out, since this same lamp is also listed under EM2E-4107300 alongside OE 13151989-00. Numbers alone can be misleading when a part carries more than one listed reference. The safest check is the fitment table on this page, which lists the model and generation this lamp is confirmed to fit. If your BYD Dolphin appears there, order with confidence. If it does not, hold off and get the number on your old lamp checked against the table first.
How will a part this size be delivered to me?
The packaging details are shown on this page. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. For exact carrier options and delivery costs for your postcode, use the quote route on this page rather than guessing. That will confirm how the parcel is actually sent and when you can expect it to land. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote.
Where does the centre tail lamp fit on my BYD Dolphin?
This is the centre lamp at the rear of the car, fitted on the exterior between the two outer tail lights. It is made of plastic and supplied new. Before ordering, match it to the model and model year exactly as shown on your registration document, since BYD Dolphin variants can differ and this listing is for the centre position only. If your car is not the year shown, do not assume the fitment carries across. Confirm the year first and order once you are certain it lines up.
