Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13948966-00
The number on my old pipe does not match this one, what now?
Check it against the second reference this part carries, SC3EA-8108110, since a part can be listed under more than one number. If either one matches what is stamped or printed on your old pipe, this is the correct replacement. If neither matches, do not fit it. The safest route is to use the quote tool on this page and send both your reg and a photo of the old part so the match can be confirmed before you order.
What is this pipe made of and does it matter which one I order?
It is metal. Only this one is listed for the BYD Yuan UP, so there is no version choice to weigh up. Before you order, check the model and model year shown on your registration document against the fitment table on this page, since that is what confirms it matches your car. The OE number 13948966-00 is also worth checking against the number on the pipe you are removing, if it is still visible.
Where does the compressor suction pipe fit under the bonnet?
Have a look at the photographs on this page, which show the pipe in position in the engine bay so you can see exactly where it connects before you take the old one off. It carries refrigerant from the compressor as part of the air conditioning system, so it sits close to that unit. This is the only version listed for the BYD Yuan UP, so check the OE number 13948966-00 against your old pipe before ordering, and use the fitment table on this page to confirm it matches your car.
