Frequently Asked Questions: OE 17370250-00
How do I know if this is the right side for my car?
This one is listed for the left side. Before you order, use the quote route on this page and give the OE number from the old duct, 17370250-00, or the code SFHB-8100170B if that is what you find stamped or printed on it. That lets us match it against the fitment table properly rather than guessing from left and right alone. It is a moulded plastic part fitted inside the footwell, so getting the side confirmed first saves a return trip to the counter.
The number on my old duct does not match 17370250-00, what now?
Check the fitment table on this page before you order. It lists the numbers this duct covers, including 17370250-00 and SFHB-8100170B, so you can match what is stamped or printed on the part you are removing. If your old part carries a different number and it is not shown there, do not fit this one on the assumption it is close enough. Confirm against the table first, then order with the number in hand so the part you receive matches the one coming out of the car.
Is this duct made of proper plastic that will hold up on this Bao 5?
Yes, it is a plastic moulding, made new rather than reconditioned. Plastic ducting like this is fine for routing warm or cold air about the footwell, it just is not a part that flexes or seals under pressure. Before you order, take a look at the old duct fitted to the car and check the number stamped or moulded on it against the OE number 17370250-00 on this page, so you know the shape and fixing points line up before it arrives.
