Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14911748-00
The fan on my car is marked TA3-1308020C. Is this the same assembly?
That reference is the alternative for this item, sitting alongside the OE number 14911748-00. Finding it on the assembly in your car is consistent with this listing. Read the trailing letter as well as the digits, since a suffix change can mean a different build of the same family. If the label on the assembly in front of you carries something else, or it has aged to the point of being unreadable, send a photograph of the assembly and its label through the quote route on this page and we will identify it against the OE number.
How long before a cooling fan assembly arrives?
Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. A cooling fan is usually wanted quickly, so get the order placed as soon as the assembly has been identified rather than waiting until the car is stripped. Nothing quicker is published against this OE number. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 14911748-00.
What is the fan assembly made of?
This assembly is made of plastic. It is a large moulded unit, and it needs a clear space to be unpacked in. Take the weight under the body of the assembly rather than by any part that moves. The details here do not give a plastic grade or an electrical specification for this OE number, so if you need that detail before ordering, use the quote route on this page.
Where on the car does this fan assembly sit?
The mounting position for this assembly is the engine bay, and the item is grouped under the cooling system with radiators and fans. So it is an under bonnet assembly rather than anything reached from inside the car. That placement is worth knowing before you buy, because access and the surrounding pipework decide how long the job takes and whether other parts have to come out first. Check the fitment table on this page against your own vehicle, and use the quote route on this page if your layout looks different.
Why is only the genuine fan offered?
Because that is the only tier available for 14911748-00. BYD is the maker of the Original/Genuine version, and no Aftermarket maker or Aftermarket line has been matched to this reference, so the page has one version to show you. The price shown on this page belongs to the genuine assembly. If an equivalent is matched later it is published here as a second tier without any action from you. To have us look for an alternative reference now, ask through the quote route and give the OE number.
