About This Part
Left front bumper air curtain trim panel for the BYD e2, OE 14737221-00 (also referenced as ELEAD-2803231). This black plastic air guide trim shapes airflow through the driver-side front bumper opening and clips into place with moulded tabs and a mounting bracket. It fits the e2 Glory 2019-2025 and standard e2 2019-2025. Reinforcing ribs stiffen the panel and guide cooling air, while the trimmed edge tidies the bumper aperture. Supplied as the left piece to mirror the matching right-hand panel.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14737221-00
How do I know this is the left side and not the right one?
This is listed as the left front air curtain trim. Before ordering, find the number stamped on the panel you are removing and check it reads 14737221-00. If your old part carries a different number, hold off and check the fitment table on this page instead, since the stamped number on the car is the surest way to confirm which side you actually need.
Genuine or aftermarket, what is the actual difference for this trim panel?
The listing shown here is one specific option for this part. If you want to compare Original or Genuine against Aftermarket for this trim panel, use the quote route on this page and ask for both to be priced against OE number 14737221-00. That way you see the real difference in what is offered before you commit, rather than guessing from the page alone. Have the old panel to hand so the number can be checked against it.
What if the number on my old part is not 14737221-00?
If the number on your old panel does not match 14737221-00, do not fit this one on the strength of the description alone. BYD parts are also cross referenced under other codes, such as ELEAD-2803231 for this panel, so a different number does not always mean a different part. Check the fitment table on this page against your vehicle details before ordering, since that table is built to catch exactly this kind of mismatch and will confirm whether this listing is correct for your car.
What is this trim panel made of, will it be strong enough?
It is black plastic, moulded to match the left front bumper air curtain. This is a trim piece rather than a structural part, so its job is to sit flush and finish the bumper edge cleanly. Before ordering, check the old panel is fitted on the left front of the car, in the same position, and look at how it clips or screws into place. Match those fixings against this listing so the new panel locates correctly and closes up the gap the way the original did.
Will I need to paint this to match my car?
Black is the only colour listed for this trim, with no other finish shown on this page. To see exactly how the surface looks before ordering, check the photographs on this page against the panel you are replacing, since colour and finish are not something the OE number alone confirms. Nothing here points to a paint step being needed, but confirm the look against your own bumper using the images shown, rather than assuming it matches without a check.
