Frequently Asked Questions: OE 16607364-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
How do I know this trim strip is the correct side for my car?
This is listed for the left side only, under OE number 16607364-00. Stand at the front of the car and look at where the trim strip sits low on the bumper. Compare that position and the fixings against the one you are replacing, since a right side strip will not match up even though the part looks similar. If you are at all unsure, hold this strip against the old one before fitting it, matching the shape and the fixing points to confirm it is the same side.
What is the difference between the Original and Aftermarket versions of this trim strip?
Only one version is listed on this page, so there is no tier choice to make here. Check the model and the model year on your registration document against the fitment table on this page before you order, since the Yuan UP and Yuan PLUS are both covered by this listing and you need to confirm which one applies to your car. Matching the OE number 16607364-00 against the number on your old strip is the surest way to be certain it is the right part.
The number on my old trim strip is different, what do I do?
If the number on your old trim strip does not match 16607364-00, do not assume straight away that this is the wrong part. Look at the photographs on this page and compare the shape, the fixing points and the profile against the part in your hand. Numbers can change between production runs while the physical strip stays the same. A clear match on shape and fixings is a stronger sign than the number alone, so use the images here to confirm before you place an order.
What is this trim strip made of and is it the same part under another number?
It is plastic, finished in black. If the number on your old part reads SC3E-2803221 rather than 16607364-00, you are still looking at the same trim strip, just listed differently. Check whichever number you can find on the part or in your paperwork against both, then use the fitment table on this page to confirm it matches your Yuan UP or Yuan PLUS before ordering.
Will this trim strip need painting or finishing before it fits my car?
Allow 8 to 25 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. Whether that particular black is the exact shade your bumper needs is not something a listing can confirm for you. Have the old part in front of you before ordering, and hold it against a clear picture of this one, comparing the finish and texture directly rather than trusting the word black to describe it for you.
