Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13534768-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
How do I know this is the left driveshaft and not the right one?
This listing is for the left side, fitted at the front, underbody. If you are not certain which side has failed on your car, use the quote route on this page rather than guessing from the listing alone. Check the OE number on the old part, or send a photograph of it and its label through the quote route, so the fitment can be confirmed before anything is ordered. This matters on a part like this where left and right are not interchangeable.
What is the difference between Original/Genuine and Aftermarket for this driveshaft?
Original/Genuine means the part comes from BYD, the maker of the car. Aftermarket means it is made to fit the same specification by another manufacturer. Before you choose between them, take the old driveshaft off the car and have it next to you when you order. That way you can match it against the fitment table on this page and confirm the OE number 13534768-00 against your old part rather than working from memory.
The number on my old driveshaft does not match 13534768-00, what now?
Do not order on the strength of the part name alone. This driveshaft is also listed under SA3EK-2203010, so a different number does not automatically mean a mismatch. Before doing anything else, find the number stamped on the part you are taking off the car and check it carefully, since that stamped number is the reliable way to confirm you are looking at the correct driveshaft for your Song PLUS EV.
