Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13863918-00
My old part has a different number stamped on it, is that a problem?
Check the number stamped directly on the acoustic cover you are removing rather than relying on memory or a paper invoice. If it does not match 13863918-00, hold off ordering and send a photograph of the old cover and its label through the quote route on this page so we can confirm against the correct OE number. Ordering on the strength of a part being physically similar is how the wrong cover ends up on the bench, so the stamped number on the old part is the only figure worth trusting here.
Where does this cover actually fit on the car?
This sits at the front of the car, fitted in the engine bay around the front drive motor, and it is made of foam rather than a rigid moulding. If you want to cross check it against other listings before ordering, it also appears under the reference SFHB-2158060, which can help confirm you are looking at the same cover from a different source. Use that reference alongside the fitment table on this page to be certain before you commit.
