About This Part
Lower rear splash shield for the front motor bay, guarding the driveline from road spray and debris on the BYD Yuan Pro and Yuan EV (2018-2022). Moulded in ribbed black plastic with pre-set mounting holes, this OE 12254203-00 panel (reference SCEB-3102161) replaces a cracked or missing original that has torn away on rough roads. Also known as an undertray or splash guard, it clips and bolts to the underbody to keep the motor area shielded.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 12254203-00
The reference on the panel I removed is not the one shown here. What does that mean?
Most likely it means you are reading the second of two references we offer. This rear splash shield is catalogued both as OE number 12254203-00 and as SCEB-3102161, and either confirms the listing. Panels fitted low on a car collect road dirt, so wipe the moulded area before deciding what it says. Where neither reference matches, resist ordering on shape, because neighbouring shields on the same vehicle look alike. Send the reading and your car details through the quote route and we will point you at the correct line.
How quickly does this ship?
Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. If the car is already booked in for body work, order early. For the current position, contact us through the quote route quoting OE number 12254203-00. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 12254203-00.
Is this a plastic shield or a metal one?
Plastic. The packaging details for it are shown on this page. A plastic shield will take a certain amount of flexing as it is offered up to its fixings, though it can split if it is forced while cold. We do not publish any figure for how long the material lasts under the car. Match OE number 12254203-00 to the fitment table on this page before ordering.
Where does this panel sit on the vehicle?
The position for it is underbody, towards the front and low on the car, behind the shield that sits ahead of it. Getting to it means raising the vehicle on proper stands or a lift rather than working under a jack. No fixing diagram or removal sequence is published by us for this panel, so your technician will follow the vehicle manufacturer's own guidance. When you book the job, give the garage OE number 12254203-00 so they order the rear shield and not the one in front of it.
Is an alternative version of this panel available?
Not on this page. The only tier listed for this shield is Original/Genuine, made by BYD, the manufacturer for the line. No Aftermarket price has been set for this application, and where such an option does exist you would see the two side by side. That keeps the decision simple here. If you would still like us to search for an alternative reference, send OE number 12254203-00 with your vehicle details through the quote route and we will report back on what exists.
