Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13157852-00
How do I know this headlamp is right for my car and not the left one?
This listing is for the right side. Before you order, look for the number stamped on the old headlamp you are removing and check it against OE number 13157852-00, also listed as HCE-4121020D, so you can be sure it matches before it comes off the car. If the numbers agree, you are ordering the correct side. If you cannot find a stamped number, check the fitment table on this page instead.
Will this headlamp definitely fit my BYD Han?
The safest check is to have the old part sitting in front of you before you place the order. Compare its shape, its connector and any markings against what you are being offered, since a visual match on the car itself tells you more than a model name ever can. If anything looks different once the two are side by side, hold off ordering until you are certain they match.
The OE number on my old headlamp does not match 13157852-00, what now?
If the number stamped on your old headlamp does not match 13157852-00, do not fit this one on the strength of the description alone. This listing is also shown against HCE-4121020D, so check that too before you decide either way. The safest step is to use the quote route on this page and send over the number you have found, along with a photo if you can manage one. That way someone can confirm the right assembly before any money changes hands.
Will this right headlamp need painting to match the car before it goes on?
No painting is needed. The lens and housing are black plastic as supplied, so there is no colour matching to arrange before fitting. What decides whether it is right for your car is the side and position, so confirm this is the right hand front unit and check how the current lamp is fixed in the wing before ordering. If your old lamp uses different fixings or a different plug arrangement, that would show up when you compare the two side by side. Match the OE number 13157852-00 against the one on your old headlamp to be certain before you order.
