Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13856264-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
How do I know this is the right side headlamp for my car?
Right and left are judged as if you were sitting in the driver's seat looking forward, not standing in front of the car facing it. This listing is for the right headlamp on that basis. Before ordering, check the fitment table on this page, which sets out the side against your specific model, so you can confirm which lamp you need rather than guessing from which one looks broken.
What is the difference between Original and Aftermarket for this headlamp?
This listing shows one quality tier, so there is no Original versus Aftermarket choice to make here for this OE number. What decides fitment is the model and model year, both shown on your registration document. Compare those details against the fitment table on this page before you order, since a Song PLUS built across different years can carry different equipment. If you are not sure this is right for your car, check the OE number on the old headlamp, or send a photograph of it and its label through the quote route on this page.
What if the number on my old headlamp is different from this one?
If the number on your old headlamp does not match 13856264-00, do not order this one on the strength of the part looking similar. This headlamp is also listed as SA3HK-4121020, so check both references against what is stamped or printed on your old unit before assuming it is wrong. Have the old part in front of you when you compare, since a mismatch is often just a different reference for the same lamp rather than proof it is the incorrect part for your car.
