Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13127253-00
Is this the left or right sun visor?
This listing is for the left side. Before ordering, check which visor has failed on the car, and look at how it mounts, the pivot bracket and the clip positions. Match those fixings against what you see here rather than relying on the word left alone, since left and right are sometimes read differently depending on which way you are facing the car. Confirming the mounting position first avoids ordering the wrong one and having to start again.
How do I know this visor will fit my car?
This is a fabric visor finished in dark black, listed for the Qin PLUS EV and Linghui e5. Have a look at the photographs on this page and compare the shape, the fixing points and the mirror cut out against the visor currently fitted to your car. If the pivot arm and clip pattern in the photographs match what you see on the old visor, you can order with confidence. If anything looks different, hold off until you are certain.
The number on my old visor does not match this one, what do I do?
If the number stamped on the visor you are taking off does not read 13127253-00, do not assume the parts are interchangeable. BYD uses different numbers for what look like the same trim piece across model years and trims. Take the number from the part you are removing and treat that as the one to match, rather than going by the description alone. Ordering against the wrong number is the most common reason a replacement visor does not sit right.
Will this visor need painting to match my interior?
No finishing is mentioned for this visor, it is supplied in dark black as listed. If you want to double check exactly what you are getting before it arrives, this part also carries the reference HAC-8204010D-00A7, and searching that alongside the BYD number can help confirm you have the right finish and material for your trim level. This visor needs no painting or any further work once it is in your hands.
