Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13151992-00
How do I know this left tail lamp is the right one for my car and not the right hand side?
This listing covers the left tail lamp, fitted to the rear of the car. Before ordering, check the position of the broken lamp on your own car and compare it against the fixings and shape of the unit you are removing. The OE number on this page is 13151992-00, also listed as EM2E-4133010, so you can match either against the marking on your old lamp. If both line up with what you have taken off the car, this is the one to order.
What is the difference between Original and Aftermarket for this lamp?
Original or Genuine means the lamp comes from BYD, the maker of the car. Aftermarket is a lamp built to fit and function the same way, made by another manufacturer. Both are listed as new. To judge the build and finish of each before you decide, look at the photographs on this page, where you can compare the lens, the housing and the fitting points side by side and choose the version that suits your budget and expectations.
The number on my old lamp is not 13151992-00, can I still order this?
Check the OE number stamped or printed on the old lamp against 13151992-00 first, since that is what tells you whether this is the right part. If the numbers do not match, do not guess. Use the quote route on this page and give the number from your old lamp there, so it can be checked before you order. This assembly is listed under 13151992-00, also shown as EM2E-4133010, and getting the number right matters more than the description on the page.
