Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13992398-00
How do I know this deflector is the right side for my car?
This listing is for the right side. Fitted position on the vehicle is right, so it sits on the passenger side in the UK. The full name on this page confirms the side and the OE number, 13992398-00, so matching that number against the old part before you order is the surest way to have the correct one in hand when it arrives.
What if the OE number on my old deflector does not match 13992398-00?
A different number on the old part does not automatically rule this one out, since parts are sometimes listed under more than one reference, here also shown as SA3EF-5302320. Look at the photographs on this page and compare the shape and mounting points against the part you are holding. If the design clearly differs, this is not the right match. Do not rely on the number alone when the images can settle it more clearly.
What is this deflector made of?
This deflector is made of plastic, fitted to the right side of the engine bay. It is also listed under the reference SA3EF-5302320. Before you order, check the OE number 13992398-00 against the marking on the old part still fitted in the car, since that is what confirms the fitment table on this page matches your vehicle.
