Frequently Asked Questions: OE 15172352-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
How do I know this is the correct side?
This is the right-hand bracket, sitting at the rear of the car. The opposite hand is a separate listing with its own OE number, so the two cannot be swapped. Decide the side while facing forward from inside the car, then confirm it by reading the number on the bracket you are replacing. If the bumper is already off, the shape of the fixing arm will tell you the same thing once you hold the two side by side. The fitment table on this page shows which cars the right-hand version fits.
Why are there two prices on this page?
Because two supply tiers exist for this bracket. The Original/Genuine tier is the BYD part carrying OE number 15172352-00. The Aftermarket tier is the same fitment from a source other than BYD, and no aftermarket manufacturer is named for this one. Both are supplied new. The price shown on this page for each tier is the figure to work from, since the gap between them is not fixed across the catalogue. If the choice matters for an insurance job, ask through the quote route before you order.
What if the reference on my old part does not match?
Check it against both numbers on this page. This bracket is listed as OE 15172352-00 and also as SC2EV-2804420. A match with either one puts you on the right listing. Old brackets often carry a supplier reference rather than the BYD number, which is why the second reference is published here. If neither string matches what you can read, photograph the number and send it through the quote route on this page. Do not order on the strength of a part that merely looks similar to the one in front of you.
When will this bracket arrive?
Delivery takes 8 to 25 days from your order to your door. If the timing decides whether you order at all, use the quote route on this page and give the OE number so we can check where this one stands. The shipping cost for your country is shown at checkout before you pay. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 15172352-00.
What material is this bracket?
Metal is what this bracket is made from. That matters mainly when you are identifying it. If the part you have taken off is long or flexible, you are probably looking at a different component altogether. Compare the shape of the old one against this one, then read the fitment table on this page before you order.
