The steel shaft runs between two CV joints protected by pleated rubber boots and retaining clamps, transmitting drive to the right rear wheel. This rear CV axle replaces a torn boot, a clicking outer joint or a worn drive half-shaft. It mounts underbody on the right-hand side.
