Frequently Asked Questions: OE 17507696-00
Will this camera fit my car if it is not exactly the same model?
Fitment here is limited to one model, the BYD Yuan PLUS, and no other vehicle is shown against this listing. If your car is a closely related model or a different trim of the same range, that alone is not enough to confirm a match. Open the fitment table on this page and check your exact model against the entries listed there before you order, since a similar looking car can still take a different unit.
The number on my old camera is not 17507696-00, is this still right for me?
This camera is listed under OE 17507696-00 and also appears as SC2EW-3776270, so a different marking on the old unit does not automatically rule it out. The safest step is to check your model and model year against the fitment table on this page rather than rely on the number alone. If both match, this rear-fitted unit is the one to order. If you are still unsure after checking the table, use the quote route on this page before you buy.
Where on the car does this camera go?
It sits at the rear of the car, on the outside of the bodywork rather than inside the cabin. If you want to double check you have found the right listing, this same part is also catalogued under the reference SC2EW-3776270, so search for that code as well as the OE number if you are cross-referencing against paperwork or an old invoice. Matching either reference confirms you are looking at the same camera module before you place your order.
