Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13856217-00
How do I know this is the right side lamp for my car?
This one is listed for the right side, at the front of the car. Yours may need the same lamp on the left instead, so check the position before you order. The fitment table on this page confirms which side this listing covers for the BYD Song PLUS. If you are not certain which side has failed, look at the lamp that has stopped working or is damaged, since that tells you the side to order, right or left.
Is this lamp available in Original or Aftermarket quality here?
This lamp is listed here in one quality option only, made by BYD and supplied new. There is no separate Original or Aftermarket choice to compare on this page. Look at the photographs on this page to see exactly what you would receive, including its shape and fitting points, before you order. The lamp carries OE number 13856217-00, also listed as SA3HK-4102200, so match that against the number on your old part first.
What if the number on my old lamp does not match this one?
Check the number stamped on the part you are removing before ordering this one. This lamp carries OE 13856217-00 and is also known as SA3HK-4102200, so do not worry if only one of those matches what you see stamped on your old unit. If neither number matches at all, it is not the right lamp for your car. Take the number from the part you are taking off and use it to confirm this is the correct replacement before it goes in the basket.
